Horses are amazing, but they sure are a lot of work to take care of. Last week we, Mom, Dad and I hauled hay! I think we did about 160 bails. Thats a lot for a girl like me with no muscles, a mother who is pretty strong and a father with hay fever!
In the long run, it was worth it. I went horse riding last Saturday up to Snowbasin... it was beautiful. The leafs are turning colors or golds, reds and beautiful yellows. I could not think but to thank my Father in Heaven for the beautiful creations that he has blessed us with... plus the wonderful, amazing, heavenly horses to ride! I wish I could spend all day, everyday, all year riding my horses if the weather, plus my body would permit; but after a few hours of riding, I tend to get sore and sometimes the clouds are out and the snow does fall. But when you have days like that, all you have to do is get your crayons out and start drawing pictures of you on your horse... and trust me, this way you don't get wet and you're never sore!
